Genesis 1:14 “Let there be lights in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs.
Jesus declared the Sun, Moon and the Stars would give signs before his 2nd coming.
Luke 21: 25-28 “And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; 26 men’s hearts failing them from fear and the expectation of those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. 27 Then they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory. 28 Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.”
Jesus then gave a warning
Luke 21: 36 “ Watch therefore, and pray always that you may be counted worthy to escape all these things that will come to pass, and to stand before the Son of Man.How does a person become worthy to escape the wrath coming to this world and stand before the Son of Man ?
1 Thessalonians 5:9″For God has not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.“
John 3:16 ” For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”
